How to find the booking portal link in Firefly to share with your guests and potential guests

Overview
We call the main booking page you may choose to share the Reservations Portal, we call the website link to this page your Reservations Portal URL. The rest of this article will cover where to find the URL within Firefly, how to add the URL to your own website, and some ideas for how you may utilize the URL from your website.
In order for you to be able to accept online reservations through the reservation portal, your account must be in βLIVEβ mode. When you are ready to be LIVE, you can simply click the button that says LIVE in the account manager settings by your name. Link to your Account Manager settings.
Note: If your park was created before August 13th, your park will already be in LIVE mode.
Finding your Firefly Reservations Portal URL
This is one of the most important links, your booking link! To find your parks Reservation Portal URL:
- On the left menu, click the Settings option
- Click the Property option
- From the Property Settings page, click the Reservations tab
- At the top of the tab, you will see the section "Online Reservations" and below that, you will see "Reservation Portal URL"
You can copy/paste this link anywhere you would like!
Adding the Reservation Portal URL to your Website
Now that you know your Reservation Portal URL, you can add it to your own website, social media accounts, or marketing emails, and share anywhere digitally you would like.
On your website, we recommend using a button that says "book now". This button will be linked to your reservation portal URL so when guests click the button they are automatically redirected to your Firefly booking page. This redirect is a seamless experience for your guests.
NOTE: Right now it is not possible to embed your reservation portal onto your website.
Custom URL Parameters
You have the option to add parameters to your reservation portal URL so guests the reservation portal loads with some search fields prefilled.
For example, if you add a 'Book Now' button to a page on your website about your cabins, you can use the Logding UnitType parameter to create a customized URL related to this content. You then link the customized URL to the cabin page's Book Now button. When a guest clicks this button, the reservation portal loads with the Lodging unit type selected.
Available parameter names and values:
UnitType - RV (Rv site), RVT (RV/Tent site), T (tent site), L (lodging), V (venue), S (storage), BS (boat slip), O (other)
ReservationType - S (Standard), O (ongoing)
ArrivalDate - Any valid date that is greater than or equal to today and less than the max search date. Use format yyyy-MM-dd, such as 2021-11-31.
DepartureDate - Any valid date that is greater than the arrival date and less than or equal to the max search date. Use format yyyy-MM-dd, such as 2021-11-31.
Adults - Any valid integer greater than 0.
Children- Any valid integer greater than 0.
Pets- Any valid integer greater than 0.
Using Custom Parameters
To add a parameter to a URL, use the following format: "?ParameterName=Value".
Do not include spaces but be sure to include the ? before the parameter name and the equal sign between the parameter name and value.
To specify the Lodging unit type in a URL, you would add "?UnitType=L" to the end of your reservation portal URL so the URL looks like this:
https://app.fireflyreservations.com/reserve/property/testpropertyname?UnitType=RVT
Using Multiple Parameters
You can add as many parameters as you would like. For all parameters after the first use an & instead of the ?.
Your full reservation portal URL would look something like this if you include multiple parameters:
https://app.fireflyreservations.com/reserve/property/testpropertyname?UnitType=RVT&Adults=2&Children=1
