How do I change Payment Method options?

In Firefly, you have a variety of payment method options to help with your reporting. This article covers how to choose which payment methods your system will show your clerks.

Overview

You have ten options for Payment Methods in Firefly. These options are the same when taking payments or making refunds. The names and order of appearance are fully customizable, which allows you to only display accepted payment methods or narrow down the options staff see for daily use. The feature even allows you to put the most desired options at the top of the list for transaction efficiency.

To manage these options, click the Settings dropdown on the main menu and select Payment Methods.

How to Change Payment Method Options

  1. Click Settings dropdown then select Payment Methods.
  2. To change a name or visible status, click on the 3 horizontal dots > Edit
  3. To rearrange the order, click and hold the 3 vertical dots then drag the option to a new location in the list.
