Notes, where can I find them?
There are many opportunities to record notes all throughout Firefly. This article shares a comprehensive list of where you may enter notes and confirms if a note is visible to guests or only visible to staff.

Note locations in Firefly
The following locations are where notes may be recorded in the system, as well as where the notes may be viewed and who may view them.
- Reservation Details - Notes tab, visible on the reservation and for your team only
- Payments - Notes box when entering a payment, for existing payments: reservation's Charges tab > payment's Options dropdown > View Notes, for existing POS transaction: does not appear on the guest portal or on receipts. Existing notes are viewable on a reservation and POS transaction in the same manner as entered above. The Payments report and Charge Payments report both have a column to display payment notes.
- Invoices - Notes box, may be seen by staff and guests on the guest invoice
- Guest Profile - Notes box on Guest tab, visible internally to staff users only on the guest profile's Guest tab and on a reservation's Guest tab.
- Payments in Point of Sale - These do not show on receipts nor on on the guest portal. They are viewable in transaction history. Shown on POS Payments report.
- Unit Settings - Notes Tab, this is internal for your team and will track a history of the notes

Blocked Unit Group - Notes box, this is internal and will show on the grid when hovering over the block

Unit Blocks - Notes box, this is internal and will show when hovering on the grid
- Grid Unit Blocks - Notes box, this is internal and will show when hovering on the grid
Notes in Reports:
Reports currently displaying associated notes are Payments and Charge Payments in the Charges & Payments section and POS Payments in the POS section.
