Password Reset Overview:
If your password has expired or you have forgotten your password, you can reset it on the main Firefly Reservations login screen by clicking "forgot password." Every 90 days your Firefly Reservations password will expire and need to be reset.
How to Reset your Password:
- From the main Firefly Reservations login page, click "forgot password".
- You will be redirected to the password reset page as shown below.
Enter the email address associated with your user login and select “Reset Password." - You will then receive a green success message that reads “Success! A temporary password has been emailed to…”.
- Return to the main login page by clicking “login” below the Reset Password button.
- You should have now received a Reset Password email, as pictured below, from noreply@mf.fireflyreservations.com. Write down the temporary password provided.
Tip: We recommend you copy-paste the temporary password from the email to enter it into the password field, if possible, to avoid character mistakes and typos.
Note: You may need to add noreply@mf.fireflyreservations.com to your domain's Allow List. This list may also be called an Approved Sender's List or Whitelist.
- Back at the main login screen, enter your email address and the temporary password.
- Create and verify a new password, in the prompt shown below. Then, click Save New password.
NOTE: If you do not see the New Password prompt pictured below, skip to step 9.
- You will then be prompted to login, using your new password, to finalize the reset process. At this point... Congratulations, your password reset was successful!
- If you have Two Factor Authentication enabled on your user profile, you will see the screen below. This means you will have automatically received another email from Firefly with the subject: Firefly Login Code.
- Write down or copy the verification code, provided in the mail and appearing as the example below, to enter it into the verification screen shown above. Again, we recommend copy-paste if possible.
- You will now see the New Password prompt and can return to step 7. Almost done!
Caution with Saved Passwords.
Many users have their Firefly username and password saved onto their device, or use a password keeper, for quicker log in. Please ensure that your previously saved password is removed and updated to your newly created password, this will prevent future log in issues. You can typically find a list of saved passwords in your device settings.
