Overview
Sometimes, you need to block a unit to prevent it from being reserved. This could be due to a necessary repair, scheduled maintenance, or it is out of season. Blocks can be added for each individual unit, or you can create a group of blocks for a large set of units - or even all units in your entire park.
NOTE: The end date of a block's active period is the day you will allow an arrival. For example, to block a unit for weekday maintenance you will set an active period as Monday through Saturday. With Saturday being the first day of arrival after the block.
Individual Unit Block
To block a single unit for your desired date range, go to Settings > Units and select a unit to view the unit settings page. Select the Blocks tab, and click Add Blocked Out Date.
Once the block has been saved, navigate back to the Reservation Grid to view the blocked date range on the grid.
You can also click the red blocked out range on the grid to go directly to the unit settings page to edit or delete the blocked out date range.

Blocked Unit Groups
Sometimes, you need to block out your entire property or a large number of units. This is most common when you have groups of units closed for maintenance or repairs, your property is closed certain weekends, or your entire park has an off season.
Blocked unit groups allow you to block stays in selected units on specific dates yet still keep your reservation portal enabled for new bookings. And rather than blocking each unit individually, or blocking one unit and exporting the blocks to other units, you can easily create and manage groups of blocks from the Blocked Unit Groups page.
New Blocked Unit Group
To create a new group of blocks, go to the main menu's Property dropdown and select Blocked Unit Group. Click New Blocked Unit Group.
A pop-up will open and in 3 quick steps you can block multiple units or your entire park.
- Choose the date range and reason for the blocks. You have the option to add notes you or other staff may find helpful.
- Select the units you want to include in the group. You can select all of your units with one click using the Select All button.
- Click Save to save the new group. Please note: if the block happens to collide with any existing reservation, group hold, or another block, you will see an error and must remove the unit or adjust the block dates before clicking Save again.
