Overview

Property settings is where you can find many of the customizable options within Firefly Reservations. 

General Tab

Under "General Property Info" you can update your property name, website, address, email, time zone, currency, pIn the General tab, you will enter your property name, address, phone, and email address. You can find or subscribe to your SMS Messaging number, and update your Friendly URL Name.  

Under "Branding" you can add your property logo, property image, and update the primary color used for buttons. 

 Under "Location Information" you can update your property description, driving directions, and property coordinates.

Reservations Tab

The Reservations tab is where you can find your reservation portal URL, and customize the look, feel, and settings of the online reservation portal. 

Reservation Portal URL This is the link you can add to your website and online marketing under a "book now" button to share with guests

Reservation Types Accepted You can choose if you accept short term reservations, ongoing reservations, or all reservations from the reservation portal.

Rate Calculation Mode This is the way that a rate is calculated. Read more about these here

Reservation Portal Occupants Instructions This is a text box option where you can give specific information to your guests booking around the occupants

Reservation Hold Minutes This is how long a reservation will hold for, before a guest needs to restart, and any units in their cart will free back up to be booked by someone else

Max Days Out To Allow A Reservation This is the number of days in the future you want a guest to be able to book a reservation

Max Units Bookable Per Reservation If you need to set a limit on how many units in a specific reservation are made, you can use this feature to set the maximum limit 

Reservation Portal Availability If you want to turn off all availability for your park from the online portal, check the box to do so

Max Reservation Date Set a date here if you wish to turn off online bookings based on a specific date

Same Day Reservation Cutoff Set this if you have a time of day that you do not wish for guests to book a same day reservation online

Primary Unit Type This is the default unit that will show for your online reservation portal

Available Unit Search Check or uncheck the boxes next to any of these options to display the question or feature on the reservation booking portal

Search Results Customize the options around what a customer will see when searching for a unit to book

Default Search Results View Choose if your search initially displays a list view of units, or your map(s). 

Vehicle Info Options Check the box next to the information you wish to require from your guests when adding a vehicle to the reservation

Checkout Options Check the box next to the specific checkout options you wish to apply to your park

Referral Sources Add options for your guest to choose when booking to learn more about where your customers find your parkReservation Success This is the message that will display after a reservation has been booked. You can add a redirect url here, or update the text below to customize the message. 

 

Reservation Portal Instructions Add text here to welcome guests to your site, inform guests that they are outside of a booking window, or anything you wish - it's completely customizable! 

Fees Tab

The fees tab is where you can set up fee rules to pass along to your guests. For more information on setting up custom fees, find our help article here

Payments & Charges Tab

The Payments & Charges tab is where you can set up, or edit your payment processor options as well as update default settings around payments and charges.

Payment Currency Check this box if you wish to process in the guests selected currency

Payment Methods Check this box if you wish to require a payment method to be held on file for the guest 

Default Payment Due Days Set this to determine the default number of days from when a charge is created that the payment will be due

Payment & Charge Notifications These are the park level notification settings, often when adding charges and payments, you can choose in the app to send or not send a notification for the specific change you are making

Scheduled Payment Notification Days Use this to determine the number of days in advance to notify a guest of an upcoming scheduled payment

Recurring Charges Choose to check or uncheck these settings around recurring charges that may be created for ongoing reservations. 

Display Preferences Tab

The Display Preferences Tab is where you can help your Firefly Reservation portal match your parks design. Here you can update the unit type names, hide equipment types, and customize equipment type names. 

Custom Unit Type Names Here you can set alternative names for the unit types. This will update your internal system as well as the booking portal. 

Hidden Equipment Types If you want to hide certain options from showing to guests, you can check the box next to any of of the equipment types.

Custom Equipment Type Names If you wish to change the display name of an equipment type, here is where you do so.

Reservation Portal Here you can update the custom messaging that displays on your reservation portal

 

  Notifications Tab

This is the email that will be notified any time a new reservation is made.

Kiosk Tab

This tab has the settings options for you to choose what your Kiosk URL displays. For more about the kiosk feature visit our help article here
